- Each student, according to his/her level of study, will receive one lesson each week. Length of Lessons: 30 minutes, 45 Minutes, 1 Hour.
- Lessons are purchased as a flat-rate monthly subscription.
Tuition rates (in our studio/ online/ in your place) and Group Lessons.
1) In our studio in Mount Pleasant:
30-minute lessons / $200 a month
45-minute lessons / $300 a month
60-minute lessons / $360 a month
2) Online:
30-minute lessons / $160 a month
45-minute lessons / $220 a month
60-minute lessons / $280 a month
3) At home or different location:
30-minute lessons / $300 a month
45-minute lessons / $360 a month
60-minute lessons / $480 a month
5) Group Lessons (4 – 6 students per class)
30-minute lessons / $120 a month
6) Charleston Day School
30-minute lessons / $220 a month
- These lesson subscriptions provide a discounted rate for regular study for students seeking to learn the art of music. Single consultations and coaching sessions are available for professionals upon request for $120 per hour in our studio.
- For regular students, a credit card must be kept on file either in the form of a recurring monthly subscription via PayPal found on my website www.toromusucstudio.com. OR through an email invoice via Square. Your payment will be automatically processed at the same time every month.
- Each student will have a regular, weekly lesson time reserved for them upon registration. Please note that typically, each student will receive a minimum of 4 lessons per month. While rare, other months may only provide the opportunity for 3 lessons due to holidays. During these times, students will be given additional video content and/or remote assignments so that they can continue their study.
- It is the responsibility of the student to attend each lesson listed on the calendar. Because my studio operates at maximum capacity, make-up lessons are offered as a convenience if the calendar allows, but cannot be guaranteed. I promise to do everything within my power to be accommodating. Lessons missed by the student in which the calendar does not allow a make-up time will be given a custom video assignment. Lessons missed by me, outside of holidays, will guarantee a make-up, and in situations where one is unavailable, your lesson rate will be prorated in your favor. Students who are conscientious about attending all of their lessons, will never find themselves without the right information to keep them on course!
- It is the responsibility of the student to remember his/her lesson time. I will attempt to reschedule a lesson ONLY if I am notified at least 24 hours PRIOR to your scheduled lesson –NO EXCEPTIONS – this is your reserved lesson time.
- Due to high demand, I also have remote lessons that are available via Google Meet and Zoom. While many students across the map choose this as their main lesson medium, this service is also available to my regular local students. If you have a day that you are out of town, have the sniffles, OR traffic is just particularly horrible — feel free to check in remotely! Just be sure to call or text ahead of time to let me know and I’ll be happy to accommodate you.
- All students should own a folder to keep any handouts or music.
- It is my job to turn you into a brilliant, musically literate, trained musician AND/OR to make sure you enjoy yourself making music. Students are expected to practice as much as they can to attend every lesson – This is how progress is made and is crucial to your enjoyment.
